i think that when making a forum post, putting in information in your about me, or when in the chat room, i think everyone should be able to choose their own personal font and color. what do any of you guys think?

I'm not so sure.

Everyone's post would be different colours and fonts and if anything, I'd find it annoying to read.

It would depend how it was done, could be nice, could be annoying.

in chat rooms - maybe have a selection of 4, maybe 5 colours thats easy to see.

forum - black is fine.

font - you dont need different fonts or sizes (i know you didnt say sizes but just incase someone else suggests it).

you dont want to overkill it or it gets too messy and confusing. if its kept nice and simple, then its fine.

I like it the way it is, but if people wanted change, then thats how I think it would work best

I agree with aflumpire its' a good idea but it will get confusing and it will get messy with a green colour then a red colour etc.

I think it should stay as it is in the chat room, I mean, you can already change the colour scheme a bit anyway. everyone having different colours would be confusing.





Sure, the forums are kept tidier and easy to read this way, as with the chat room, too many colours and fonts and sizes will just be annoying.

It may be wise to think that people in our friends list could have say a Pink or Blue text in the chat rooms.

Sometimes you are talking to a friend amongst the busy chat room - so it wouold be easier to spot when they say something if 10 things are being said in a matter of seconds.

It may also be handy to select certain people that you could 'highlight' in the chat room to come up with a special colour, like the friend colour idea.

you dont want everyone on your friend list so they are highlighted, so if you are having a good conversation with someone in the chat room and you want their text in a different colour so you dont miss anything and have to concentrate on names, it would be handy.

would it take much to do??

just something to make things a little easier, as you dont talk to everyone in the chat room - highlight the nice chat your having, highlight the argument your having, highlight the argument your watching .

even if you could only highlight up to 5 people, and have their PM box with the option "highlight" or something, would be good for when its a busy chat room.
