Ever frustrated by entering tournaments and waiting for ages whilst my opponent decides not to bother coming to the game, rather than just a pop-up appearing saying thanks for not coming - how about a 5 point deduction to be added to the persons points who does show for the game????

a bit harsh funky , sometimes there is a valid reason for people not turning up , learn some patience and think yourself lucky you get a bye lmao

Yip. Plus, people might be well aware that they have three minutes to turn up, but maybe they have other things to do before appearing. Remember that once the last game in a round is over, the winner gets an invite immediately. Toilet breaks are a fatc of life, you know!

In any case, the wait is only three minutes, and every player is entitled to it. If they don't turn up, you get a bye. What more can a player ask for?

if I know that I cant make it, then I will drop my opponent a message that I won tbe going.

but 90% of the time when I am knock out of tournaments, I have been busy doing other things or I am out. Its just a fin game, so I dont take it serriously as its every hour.

what about people who are still in another tournament and can't turn up? I'm sure you've been in that situation a few times being the good player you are Funky. How would you like to constantly lose 5 points because of that?

I enter tournies and 70% of the time I forget to turn up!


The invite'll arrive and I would say to myself "I'll just finish this" and I forget I have it. By the time the reminder arrives, I'm midway through a game!

I'm trying to keep my abandon stat down below 1% out of a matter of pride, and I would HATE losing 5 points every time lmao!

lmao i agree, i am usually playing a game and my invite comes in, if i'm playing a ranked game and i'm winning, i'm not just gonna forfeit the match to play a tournament that i entered for fun, then i would lose ranking points and lose the tournament, then i'm out of luck lol

welll then cant nick do something so there if someone does need to play a tournament but playing in a RANKED game when the invite comes, then you can 'mutrally retire the game'? of course, both players should have to agree

yeah, its a risk playing ranked so close to the tournament...but if you have two really defensive, stubborn players; then they have to choose one or the other.

could we do that? or is that another crap idea of mine?

Don't play ranked games in the middle of a tourney, that's my philosophy

most of time i forget that i have signed up for the tournament, the main aim on this game is to build up your ranking, people forget mate and then when your invite comes in theres nothing you can do, ur just like duh what do i do? my philosophy is play on, the ranking is worth more, its like money on here, the more you have the more respected and feared you are lol
