hey does anyone know if IMVU is good? T.M.I.S blocks the website. not because of biruses but because it's a chatting website...?

My opinion.... I have MSN. IMVU is just taking the MSN concept into 3D animation. Stay well away, it is really tacky in my opinion...

It's totally down to personal taste.

Some people still like old fashioned ICQ or IRC to stay in touch, others go for fully fledged virtual worlds like Second Life or "cartoony" systems like Habbo Hotel etc.

i think its down to a matter of opinion, you don' want to be joining sites like imvu unless you understand the risks, your on one computer screen you don't know who is on the other, you want security then stick to msn, also what is all this rubbish i'm hearing about T.M.I.S. if you ask me its just another programme trying to weedle into the security business, you don't need it, because then it blocks websites that you want to visit, won't be long before it blocks funkypool, uninstall it and get mozilla firefox 3, it has all the built in security that all the rest of them have but then YOU can decide what websites are blocked, notice i emphasised the you, you're in control not some stupid security programme, get rid of it and start taking control for yourself
