As that result shows, I got my 35 points, and the message saying "Points obtained..." came up, so I missed my next shot, and then left the room only for that result to come up when I had clearly won.

I was just wondering why it did so?

I think you have to wait for the result to register and come up in chat window before you can leave.

I was thinking that too.

The only reason it really bothered me was because the confirmation message that I had won had came up.

I figured anything done after that message wouldn't have any effect on the result.

And today I got 16 on golf but it came up as a 15 lol.

I think it was just one of those things that happens from time to time.

It's okay, i've won most of the points I lost back.

I just hope it doesn't happen again to anyone else.

I thought that, during the run that takes you past 35, the result and ranking come up anyway showing that you won? At least I think that happened once. It's only fair that that should be the case.
