there have been similar threads to this but they are all 'archived' becasue they havent been updated for 6 months.
but what I think could help imporve the forum is the ability to preview your forum posts.
My perfect example is my two threads where i needed to post pictures but wasnt sure if they would work or not - so instead of having to post and then find out, I could have just previewed it and then made any changes I needed.
not everyone will use it, but im sure that some will, particually people who want to post pictures and dont know if it will work or not.

It's a nice idea but is not needed, in my opinion.
The edit option allows you to make all the necessary adjustments to your post.
Your post that you're referring to doesn't look bad, it just looks as if your picture doesn't work at first, but the link is there and all the information that you needed to include in the post was included. so happy days.

I was thinking a browse button so you could just upload it on to the forum like that.
