The BBC have fitted a GPS to a container, and are following it around the planet, sadly finding it quite interesting to follow it on its travels!

the BBC has been experiencing some engineering difficulties with there GPS, near Thailand. acording to the link.

I don't think there is one, surely there just tracking where it leads?

Exactly. You can hover over the markers to see whats been going on at each point. Contaners don't have a final destination, this is to illustrate over time just how much they move about.

Well, as long as the transmitter keeps working
