Theres always been talk about multi game-type tournys but I havent seen a thread with killer as the final, so sorry if I missed it and Im repeating but I think a tournament using 4 game types would be good.
Like 64 players
Round 1: Uk (64 players, byes whatever)
Round 2: 9-ball (32 Players)
Round 3: 8-Ball (16 Players)
Final: 8 player killer
If less players, then maybe 4-player killer in final, if more then rotate through the games until down to 8 players for the final.

eer...I dont know about the killer side of things.
I think it would be great to have a triathlon tournament. I have suggested this in the past. Each round been best of 3 with game one been 9 Ball, game two 8 ball Uk and then 8 ball US...thats just been in one round.
That style of tournament is suited for the 'all rounder' and can be won by anyone really-as no one really DOMINATES all 3 diciplines (sure, there are heaps of people who are good at all 3)
And if your crap at UK but good at 9 ball, you may not get to your strongest round....thats why I like my idea (not trying to be cocky) because you play one of each game, in each round.
I think that there should be consideration of a killer tournament, but I wouldnt want to see it in a multi-dicipline tournament like this. One minute, its one on one and you are in a tight contest-next minute, your playing 7 other people!
sorry, I dont like this idea at all.

no, what i am saying is that I wouldnt mind a killer tournament by its self - but not in a multi tournament.
it would just get confusing....playing 3 disciplines against one other person and then all the sudden you are against 7 other people.

I agree, its a very good and well thought out suggestion. I wouldn't be tempted to play it as I focus mainly on 8 ball uk but I can definitely see why other people would. The final would be great to watch and play in and it gives more people the chance to participate in a final. It would be havoc but in my opinion it would be a plus point!

Surely, what your saying there is an incentive in itself to get good at all game disciplines!!
As for your idea, quite frankly it hasn't got a shade on bleu's idea. His combines all game types (minus minigolf) and puts it into a fair competitive tournament!
Back to the point tho, great idea.

I think both ideas are great, adding bleus idea, i think maybe the order of the 3 games 8 ball US,Uk and 9 ball should be random for each tourney?
I also think killer is a great discipline for the final.
