Right..
I got given a Thomson SpeedTouch ST585 v6 without the disk.

I had it working before but, now I'm not sure how to get it working again..

I've tried to download the drivers for it but, I cant seem to get the damn thing to work!
I downloaded a BIN file.. I don't have a clue where, what, how that works but it dont work for me!

I'm not any good with Drivers and Modems so any help is appreciated!

Edit - new tactic!

Did you download your driver from here :

http://www.thomson.net/GlobalEnglish/SelfService/dsl-modems-download/Pages/default.aspx

If not, work through that, i think it will make a difference

The .bin file is a firmware update for the router - you really shouldn't need that.

Hae a look through the userguide and see if you can reset to factory defaults.

Do that, then try uninstall, reinstall.

Just realised - how are you connecting to the modem?

If you're using an ethernet (network) cable, then it may be your network card thats the issue.
