Good enough, although beforehand both were only up to four, with UK as decider. I think a decider should be decided by the two players.

As above, it was decided that semi's would be first to 5. UK decider is fine by me, but you are playing on a different table (this is after all US knockout). I guess back then we couldn't really use killer to decide games as its not 2 player, but straight pool is.
