Mac Recommendations:
Neo Office
(based on open office but for Mac)
If you have an I-Touch: Get the 2.0 upgrade and find the remote in the apps section. Its about 2 euro so not technically freeware or opensource - but fantastic. It allows you to control your laptop and I tunes with your touch provided they are both hooked up to the same WiFi
I'm open to other suggestions?

Yer I have an iPod Touch with the firmware 2.0.2 on it i think it's preety cool with the iRemote but it's not 2 Euro and by the way it is the best software you can control your entire library music on your iPod Touch just like a remote .
