A few days ago my laptop started to not work at all so i wen't to get it checked and they said it's grand,And know all other sites work ok apart from funkypool,i keep getting the Network Error (tcp_error) code on my screen or it works for a few minutes then it comes up again.

And when playing the game i keep getting disconnected even though my internet connection is working perfectly which is frustrating.....Any ideas how to fix the problem

Could it be java?

I have had this problem and to resolve it check your internet connection. IF that doesn't work then go on Start ---> Run---> CMD and type ipconfig.

Put the ip in the url address bar and sign in and just check your settings.

Although sites may 'work' fine, your internet connection may be inconsistent. Since Funkypool requires constant connection while most sites just require a connection for long enough to communicate data via HTTP, which constantly connects and disconnects anyway.

If you are using wireless try plugging an ethernet cable direct into your router. If that is not feasible reset your router (turn off and on again).

In order to determine whether or not you have a stable connection to funkypool.com, open a command window (Start -> Run -> cmd + enter), then type "ping www.funkypool.com -t"

That starts a continuous test that lists the time it takes for your traffic to reach the game server. If it times out or the response times vary a great deal, that typically indicates a troublesome connection. In that case, try pinging other sites to see if they behave similarly or if the problem is specific for funkypool.

I tried the run command thing and the request timed out few times but they were mostly 200ms apart..and i have no idea if thats good or bad haha.. I also downloaded firefox to see if that could change it in anyway but still i get disconnected whilst playing....I have no idea

That error usually means that your browser is requesting an address that has been cached locally or in your network, which would make sense since you're getting timeouts when pinging.

How are you conecting to the internet?

I use broadband to connect to the internet,I pinged other sites and they are working fine and i just uploaded the latest java upgrade...The Network Error code dosen't come up everytime just now and again..it's just the disconnection while playing i can't figure out...I thought it was my broadband that was messing everything up but every other site works perfectly

Anybody else have any idea what the problem is....i haven't played a game in 2 weeks
