I think the same as anyone else, prices are too high and they get paid way too much, but some footballers are very charotable and are big campaigners for charities such as Phil Neville.
Also, did you see Louis Saha, he offered to work at everton for free until he is fully fit, which I think was nice of him.

The problem is, not enough players are like that. Cristiano Ronaldo for instance, already gets paid enough in a year to keep him going till the end of his life, but he STILL wants more. That's the case for too many of our top pros, and it's really sad. More of them should being doing what you mentioned above.

lol... Of all the different types of football (association, rugby, Gaelic, American, Australian Rules), England is the only place where they call it football football, and in the others they call it soccer. In Ireland it gets called football more than it is in America (i.e. never), but we have Gaelic football, so if someone says they play "football", it might mean either. You might hear a schoolkid saying they play "football and soccer".
Of course, rugby is always called rugby.
Anyway... what's the topic?

Manchester City now have the money to do that. It may help them to success, and then again, proves the game is all about the money now.
Berbatov didn't want to stay at Spurs, so the only option was to sell him.

With the credit crunch at the moment and the shortage of money, it amazes me just how much debt big clubs.
For example Man U are said to be around £704m in debt, but they still they pay people like Ronaldo around £150k a year....
....Daft or what?
