Killer auto start problem

Had a killer game of 6 players fail to auto start last night. Any known issues around this?

It was a new game that gradually filled up to the required 6 players, then all but one player hits the start button and the game waits. Well over a minute passes without the game starting as it's supposed to.

Should be irrelevant, but just fyi - the player who did not hit start was not the game owner.

happened to me before in a killer game....i think you entered just afterwards and i told you about it

If they're not responding it wont autostart, similar to random shots.

Ah, you mean as in network latency?

The game didn't state anything about player so-and-so not responding, then again I guess it takes a few seconds from the point the communication stops flowing until the message is printed to avoid being spammed with those messages for every slightest lag spike.

And that might very well be the case Mike, I have a true teflon memory so no surprise if I have forgotten

The comment detailing someone isn't responding only shows after 30-35 seconds (lets say they started responding after 25s), add the time taken for them to press the button (30s) and add another bout of non-responding before client informs server about autostart (maybe another 25s) and you can see that more than a minute can occur without the game starting.

This scenario would be pretty much down to client connection issues.

i had this problem but as nick says it was just lag from client.
