When is a perfect tourney a perfect tourney? I always thought it was to win all your games without losing one and without any byes too? Or do people just view it as not losing a game in the matches you play?

I think it is what you said you thought it was But everyone probably has their own views on it.

How you define it is up to yourself to decide I guess, but since you can't control whether or not you get a bye, I'd say you have done a perfect one when you don't lose a single frame. Byes or not.
