Hmmm

I've long been a fan of the Westinghouse OV-20 Mercury Luminaires. I think we can all agree that is a handsome street lamp.

Seriously though - that website puts every myspace etc style DIY page i've seen to shame.

What he may lack in design, is more than made up for with enthusiasm!

Nah i prefer the GE Form 109 Top Mount, it's a lot more modern and gives off a better look.

(i wish it had never came to this)

Sometimes I see just one old streetlight standing dark, inoperative, rusty, amidst brand new aluminum poled sodium lights. I have more than once thought about cutting it down and taking it home for my collection. True, streetlight poaching is a crime, but maybe the city, not wishing to spend the money to get rid of the eyesore, really wished that some random individual would do it.

Never would i have ever thought someone would make a law against streetlight poaching

Do you know why they made a law against poaching streetlights?

Because one night I had the dream of becoming the ultimate streetliht collector.

The "Banksy" of all streetlight collectors!!

I would agree that a NYC cuplight really compliments the streets of Manhattan.
I'm not a big fan of the Westinghouse OV-20 Mercury Luminaire though.
