I was playin in the QF on SpeedPool,my opponent kept not responding then responding in the end the time ran out, both of us were DQd as I only had the left this is realy unfair and cheats should be booted off here, is there no way round this like DQ when not responding.

I understand your frustration but this is unfortunate and isn't cheating. He/she can't help that his connection isn't good so we can safely say he/she isn't cheating. It's hard luck but it's how we bounce back that's makes us a good player.

Not for that sort of situation nope, but if people turn up very late and you don't finish it can be annoying and that can be resolved but I'm not complaining

im sure that if a DQ-DQ was given due to time running out that the computer could check if either has disconnected and award a win to the person who didnt.

I know the point you're getting at but it would have to hi-tech for it to decide who wins. Plus the next round is decided within milli seconds and I don' think it would decided who wins that quick. Plus - if you both lose connection twice, then who wins? People would complain of biasness. Plus it's in the rules of the tournament that if you haven't finished the round before time limit you both get DQ.

Not entirely true. Suffice to say, not all latency is involuntary.
