I was think could we have like a "yell" command to send out a message to everyone example ::yell congrats "nick" on your tourney win!

::user (name) (all the users name on that ip)(could come in handy for mods/admins)
::sendcomplaint (name) (reason)
::makemod (this could be optional mod, for like 30 mins) (powers.. boot user for 2 mins and can only boot 10 times every 30 mins)
::pausegame (for 2 mins)
::hostevent (event name) (this could be automatic too so it would be a good addition to funkypool)
what do you think?

Nice but won't happen. Would improve gameplay massivley but people will abuse it.

The announcement features have been cut back due to the pressure they put on the system and the interruptions the cause to normal chat.
The other features you mention are already there in userfriendly format (apart from pausegame, which you can do by simply walking away!)

too much strain on the server and would be abused all day everyday- thats y mods n admin only can make annoucements
