hey i was just wondering; if nick or one of the admin can upgrade the table? to 3d it will make the game more exciting than 2d table.

i may be wrong (may be) but I think that this idea has been braught up once or twice before.

quite honestly, i hate the idea. i have played other 3d pool games in the past and it just take to long to get the propper aim and spins....then the graphics have to load and then get to the server and all that sort of thing.

it would just drive up people's download usage.

i think that most on here like it 2d....quick, easy pick up and play and its been like this for...ever so why change the face of the game??

still, to much pressure on the server with 100's of people online at one time.

Naa, i like funkypool for it's gameplay, it's 2d gameplay. If i wanted 3d, i'd go elsewhere

There are a few features not included in funkypool simply because they require a 3D game engine (note - not 3D display) which slows things down, steepens the learning curve, etc etc.

The funkygames are what they are largely because of the simplicity and instant playability. There are plenty of 3D online pool games out there.

I've played dozens.

Thats why i'm still here.

i played at another site with a 3D thing and i didnt like it half as much as the way funkypool is set up. but thats just me.

yes well said. if funkypool did become 3d then am off and so will 1000s more.if you want realism buy a pc game there plenty out there,i love to hear new suggestions around the game but not comletely changing the format.
