Hi,
I am currently looking to upgrade my old ipod (since the battery has about 30 minutes of life!) but i am not really sure what one to get.
Im thinking of either the ipod 80gb or the microsoft zune 2 80. Comments from owners of either of these would be appreciated.
Also, if you have an mp3 player which you would recommend, please leave a comment.

I actually have the old version of the iPod Nano, and it works great. Never had any problems, and I listen to it everyday. Depends on which version you get, I guess.

I have been using a creative zen 20gb player for 2 years and have found it to be a great machine. Very reliable.

I have a Sony 1Gb one, and it holds around 700 songs - about twice the number of most others with no noticeable decline in quality. Unfortunately, the new Sonys only support Mp3, so they'll store the same as every other MP3. Not keen on Ipods - I think they're over-priced and not as good as many other Mp3's on the market.
Definitely wouldn't go for the Zune though...

wont it be cheaper to just get a new battery? or do you need an upgrade?
If you can get replacement batteries, then do you want to sell the old one?

Ask yourself, do you really need 80GB??
I have a 512MB MP3 player and still find myself with 100 good songs.
