what happens when opponent goes into not responding? do we leave and lose points? or what?

no mate you wait for them to leave, why should you loose the points if its not your pc

It really is your personal choice as to what to do when an opponent stops responding.

In tournament games, all you can do is wait and hope they either resume so you can play or get logged out.

Its important to remember that when a network connection is lost (which is what causes people to stop responding) it is nobody's "fault". Just the nature of the internet..

yeah, it came down to 30 seconds left in a tournament once for me and this guys computer started to lag really bad midway through the deciding game. it came down to one ball left on the table for me and just the black for him...i could win it in 2 easy shots.

i just said to him that there is no point in him going through if he is lagging really bad and with 30 seconds left to complete the round....grrrr.

anyway, he won with 10 seconds left to complete the round...devestated.
