when i download something over about 5mb it pauses suddenly through it and just sits at the same and when i try again it goes a little higher before pausing again but then after trying a few times it goes back down to really low its on my labtop and i'm connected to the internet through a router anyone know how to fix it or got the same problem?

What software program are you using to download from???
