I was playing on the practice table and then the sound just cut out.

I have had speaker problems before but I went on to youtube randomly to see if the sound would work on there and it did. So now, I have no sound on funkypool and the volume is up...

what can i do??

game queries heading also says that any site problems may be placed here

Most likely it is not a site problem, as other people would also have no sound.

It could have something to do with java, the sound applet may be failing, or something along those lines...


For the benefit of doubt, I would try completely removing java from your machine, re-installing it, and then reboot.

It is not likely that it is a funkypool issue, so I would just give the above a try.

surprise surprise

This is almost certainly due to MSN Live messenger.

It uses java for some functions, and when it uses it to play a sound it "takes over" the soundcard (yes, thats a grossly simplified version of events!) and prevents the sound working on funkypool, or any java game for that matter.

And yes, this is the place for any queries relating to the game, so no worries there
