black space on screen

I've got a 3cm black space to the right of my screen from top to bottom.
Nothing to do with explorers because it doesn't disappear when I close the explorer. Anyone got any idea how to fix this?

Any help would be much appreciated.

It's probably your screen resolution or the screen size you set it to.

More than likely your monitor settings. Have a look for a settings button on the monitor, and look through the menu's for "horizontal position"

Adjust that to put the picture back where its meant to be
