the suggestion for this type of tournament may have been suggested before but I have an idea for a really different tournament type and maybe we could play this at Christmas or New Year (more like new year as people decide to be with family, not playing internet pool).

So at say....midday UK time on January 1, 2008, we introduce a Triathlon tournament. A race to 3 tournament where each game disapline is used. So game 1 might be 8 ball UK, game 2 9 ball and game 3 is 8 ball US. We could also have it so it is random so 9 ball might be first ect. The final would be race to 3 (or 6-each game twice). The tournament will take a while but that is no different to a marathon tournament.

Like I said, this may have been suggested before as just a tournament but seen that New Year is a special occasion, we should have a special tournament to mark it.
