anyone have any tips for getting over a big win drought lol, i cant stop losing to people who are quite frankly "nobodies" or run of the mill players, its getting me aggitated and then means i make a mistake and with the stupid 2 shots and carry rule means its game over bah, the old official rules were better without silly carry

lol i mean that consistency is not my strong point neither is coming back from losing and i keep losing silly games by silly fouls to 700s etc

argh...know where youre coming from there . I was having a horror run on here until one weekend I went camping and a pub was near by. They had a pool table and as most pubs around here let under 18's play on the table, I got to have a couple of games.

I dont know what it was but after that, I reached my 1st final in over 2 months 2 days later in UK, my 9 ball ranking went from 690 up to 770 (back to 745 now) and its just been really good.

So..I dont know how but real life pool helped me!!

ye kinda like when i play on snooker table its amazing goin back onto a pool table but with this site i just dont understand it, i lose ridiculous games and its soo frustrating lol

go to the pub or pool bar tonight and come back tomorrow and see how u do!!

A mark of a good competitor is not just winning but learning to lose, getting over it, then carrying on. As 1 of the players to have beaten you i dont like being called a nobody, my score is lower than yours, so what. This all sounds like a case of sour grapes because you are not winning all the time. Look at the great players on here like cityfan84, if they lose a frame they dont sulk they just say "gg" and get on with the next frame.

tbh i dont mind losing especially if its a good game, but i kick myself when i lose because of the silly carry rule, i still think it should be abolished like it used to be as it makes the game easier than it already is, and takes a bit of the skill out of the game i think
