Funkypool is an English site, and thus, all posting needs to be in English so that everyone can understand. The site may explore other languages given moderating abilities, but until then, please remember to post in English. Thanks!

I dont think this will ever be introduced to be honest. This is because either all current moderators are sent on a foreign language training course or they will all need to be replaced with multi-lingual users.

Another thing to consider is that for each language you would need a few members of staff available who can speak the language. This is because having one select moderator for each language would not work as they wouldnt be available 24/7

At present there are about 6,900 known languages. Mandarin is the most widely spoken, followed by Spanish, English, Arabic, Bengali, Hindi, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, and German. Can you imagine attempting to moderate all of these?

The only solution would be creating a totally seperate site for specified languages such as:
www.funkypool.de
www.funkypool.fr
etc.

Google Language tools could help, but it's only going to cause so much fuss for so few people..
