The Ariel Atom is one of the best cars ever made IMO, in the video it comes 2nd on the Top Gear list of cars that The Stig drove around the track. This is an older model though (number plate says 04).
I was in one of these around 10 days ago, and it was AMAZING. It was a newer version, the 56 plate. Acceleration was brilliant, my mum was in her car on the A46 racing me and the guy who owns it. Mum was going around 80, slowly getting faster and we were going the same speed for about 4 seconds to wind her up . We then accelerated to 100 in around 1-1.5 seconds. WOW!

My sister just had a go in it tonight after we went out with my mums friend and his son. He took her round the block, then when he came back he done a do-nut.

Who wouldn't want one?
The guy who gave me a ride in it, bearing in mind I've only knew him a month.. got me a prezzie to take to my new school (staying there in the week, coming home at weekends - NO IT IS NOT A BOARDING SCHOOL sheesh). A PSP! My old PSP got stolen along with mums b/fs new Subaru Impreza Wrx Sti and his BRAND NEW (less than a month) Honda Fireblade 1000cc bike.
Actually it was mums friend and his son (a good friend of mine now) who got me the PSP. They had been doing odd jobs to get some cash, they went halfs to get me it :)
