I find it very frustrating that rank is lost simply because a player does not play everyday. Although I understand the reason behind it the fact of the matter is that some of us do not have the luxury of being able to play everyday. For instance, I travel due to work and sometimes I cannot play for a few days in a row. A player should not be punished for not being able to play everyday. Particularly in light of the fact that's so difficult in this game to win points.
THis truly takes away from the game. It is not surprising then why out of over 60,000 members less than .5% play on a regular basis as the game becomes an exercise in futility.

This is put in place because a lot of members on the leaderboard used to freeze at the 850 mark, which made the top 50 a bit unfair.

Basically it's to stop people getting a high rank then not playing anymore, as it would take away the fun for other members to get on the leaderboard.

Where did you come up with those figures?

The drop is very small, and winning one game can get you more than 3-4 days worth of reduction back easily, so to say it's an exercise in futility is incorrect.

The tiny loss allows people who have currently stopped playing from sticking at a certain high rank, also people who play (even with a few days break in between) are hardly affected at all.

Also it adds to the challenge!

I would have found it far more frustrating if someone could park 10 accounts at 900+ and make it literally impossible for anyone else to ever hit top 10

The daily deduction isn't meant to hurt those who merely play a little less than the most eager players - nor does it. It's there to prevent people from being able to park at high rank for long periods of time - something I for one am grateful for

100,000 members to change because of one negative comment?

Priceless!

Lmao!

I think the system is fine as it is....

Gives everyone a chance to get up on the tables if someone doesnt play for ages...

Anyway, if your that good, you will get the points back in 1 or 2 games!

Nothin to worry about!

I play about 1 hour weekly right now, and even at well into the 800s the only thing really hurting my rank despite low amount of play, is my own damn foul-ups :D
