I was in a game of uk 8 ball and i had just won the first game, i clicked the rack button and waited for the other player to click the rack button too when i received my tournament invite. I proceeded to click accept my invite and just 'after' i clicked accept my opponent clicked rack.

Unfortunately it resulted in me losing a game which i should have already left.

I know there is a feature which currently exists where it gives you the chance to realise that a game was in process and do you still wish to proceed.

This happened to anyone else?

no way to completely avoid that, since both you and your opponent has a certain amount of network latency towards the funkypool site, you will always have a bit of delay from the opponent pushes the rack button to you see it in your game.

The best solution is prolly to leave the game and go to a chat room before accepting the invite (that way you get the warning about the game already started), then again that wont prevent you from losing the game if you have to abandon it before it's over...

Which is exactly how things need to be.

Leaving for the chat room would in theory meet the same problem.

Do you mean you lost rank for leaving the game to play in a tournament game?
