An English Coonhound
USA, Used more on fox than a racoon. The breed is the extreme of the fast, hottrailing competition type coonhound and is still used by practical hunters and competitive hound owners thoughout the USA.
This dog has a free tounger while on the trail. It has a beautiful bugle voice, which may change to a steady chop when running. It is obedient with great powers of endurance. Should be kept in a kennel outside.
