in the tornaments it takes way to long if u have a bye is there anyway that we can set up brackets so that if the person u r supposed to play finishes before the rest of the field does u may go ahead and start your next game because i hate having to waite some 20 odd minutes till my next game when i no there are other people that i could be playing. and i no im not the only one that thinks this way. Well, say 2 players got bye's 3 rounds in a 5 round tournament.

Meaning that they start one semi-final just as the other players all start thier first round.

This means they have to wait 3 rounds, possibly 60 minutes, to play their second game!

I'd rather wait in short bursts, but maybe thats just me

(dont forget, you can play other games while you wait...)

you dont no who ya gonna get in the next round til the round is finished tho ,, so it wudnt work!

lol, worst is when it's a marathon, 1st round, and theres like 2 games playing and everyone else has a bye. u have to wait almost half an hour ¬_¬

It doesn't help you anything to play your next round sooner - it only pays off in an even longer wait when you eventually draw some of the "slower" people that are 1-2 full rounds behind you.

If you hate waiting that much and have trouble finding ways to kill that time, I suggest sticking to the speed tournys.

im just suggesting that maybe we get a bracket going, just possibly the time diffence would even out and instead of 30 minutes at the beggining maybe only 5 or so and having to wait longer the moreuwin

That would have the unfortunate effect of granting you a longer round time for your next match if you and your opponent happened to have fast matches or byes in the previous round - which is obviously not fair to the other players ;)

A better cure than changing the game in this regard is simply to learn to find stuff to entertain you while waiting - surf, chat or *gasp* practice :D
