Daily reduction
A small amount is reduced from the top player's ranking.
To prevent player's simply retiring when they are top of the rankings a small amount is chopped of their ranking daily.

The rule is a 1 point drop for any user with a ranking over 925.0, a 0.75 point drop for any user with a ranking over 900.0, a 0.50 point drop for any user with a ranking over 850.0 and a 0.25 drop for users with a ranking over 800.0.

thats mad lmao, bit of a dodgy rule i reckon, shouldnt lose points that youve earned from winning good players, especially if it gets you to top of a table, would annoy me getting top then day later being second without even playing a game lmao

The point reduction is good as it encourages play from the top leaders.

It's supposed to keep people active and actual defend their position rather than just sit back and watch.

It's a good system in my opinion, although maybe a bit steep growth up around the 900s where points are both lost faster and earned slower

It's not that bad, i'm about 920 and say for example i beat an 802 i will get about 1.1 or about 0.9.
I also beat middles_boro 7-1 earlier he was about 860, and i got about 1.8-1.9 each game.

But for a loss...*shudders* about 4.5 sometimes a little more.

I was still talking about the daily reductions, not the weight system.

The balance of the weighted system is perfectly ok too imo, asuming a 75% win rate against a 100 pts lower player.
