Was wondering if it would be possible to have a option where you could set it so you dont recieve offline messages.

Or have it so that only people inyour friends list can send you offline messages

Maybe even the only way you can receive them is if you send a message to a user first

I think it would be a good feature to add though.

I think it's ok the way it is. I doubt anyone's gonna abuse the offline messaging as you're able to complain if someone has sent a malicous message.

I aint sure... the random "add my msn" is a bit annoying

Report it....... that's what the report button is there for!

Surely a cure is better than a complaint?

But what about the people who dont want to sit there deleting messages, i come on to play pool.not spend time faffing around deleting things and not to mention then having to go to your emails then faff around deleting your inbox




Why make more work for Admin, simple add-on would solve alot of reports about people pestering them , bein offensive etc

A very valid point. Users have the option of accepting PMs, and this is just an extension of that.

The messaging system is new, and i'm sure Nick will appreciate the input to help improve the system.

However, in the meantime, 1_eye is right. If someone pesters you, report it. Dont worry, we can handle it

I still Think the option to ignore like pm is the best idea.

i dont think there is a problem with it the way it is.. maybe the option to block users who you DO NOT wish to have messaging you....
