Sounds like someone got one and just slapped it on your car. On a serious note, it depends on the area and if it's a short or long stay car park.

I don't understand how you can get someone else to pay your parking fine?

Sounds to me like you have nothing to worry about, there's certain procedures that have to be followed when issuing a ticket, registration I should imagine will be one fo them. Also, it comes down to evidence, who issued the ticket? At what time? What For? Where's the evidence?

Although I must tell you now, I don't have a car, and I don't really know alot about these tickets!

Well simple question - were you on a double yellow line?

If so, then 0 minutes is an acceptable time!

Remember mobile wardens (vehicle based) have routes equivalent to the parking zone times and if your car is still there (usually photograhic recording is used) on a second visit, you're done.

Grrr cant get away from work anywhere!

Edit - cant help but note the irony of your username dude!

I would class that as out of line. If you were actively doing something they should have helped you!

The whole point is to keep traffic moving and what they did would only have delayed you.

If you get the chance i would also point out that to apply th ticket, the warden had to park there too (despite what they may think, they're not allowed to)

Not many people realise that Spinner is much more than just an admin...he's a super-warden-busting-double-yellow-shrugging-money-saving-freedom-fighter.

We forget that at our peril
