dude, if you are after music i recommend limewire, or if you are after movies etc i suggest piratebay (google it).

I thought all that sort of stuff was illegal. how can a torrent be legal?

An example of a legal torrent would be the free trial of world of warcraft. Downloadable from many sources.

Well i deleted limewire because i was inundated with viruses from it. I was in my friends house the other day and he had it and said it was good enough software. He's away now so i can't ask him.

I downloaded it and thought it was similar to limewire where one could search for whatever it was they wanted, click the files and tahdah. But after fiddling around on utorrent for a few minutes i've no idea what i'm doing.

Just wondering, should i want to download a legal 'free trial of world of warcraft', for example, how do i go about it.

LOL limerwire is terrible one of the worst torrents i have ever known of personally i use slsk.

Limewire doesnt handle torrents.... Its P2P.

Anyway, torrents can be searched for using websites such as google.

These engines search for the torrent which you download and open with you torrent client. The best client, in my opinion has to be Azureus. http://azureus.sourceforge.net
