Got home from work and tried to play a song that played last night.
it says

Windows Media Player cannot play the file because there is a problem with your sound device. There might not be a sound device installed on your computer, it might be in use by another program, or it might not be functioning properly.

Any ideas? Tried rebooting etc
Looked on control panel and i cant find my speakers etc
tried installing them it cant find them?
any ideas?

Could it be anything to do with sound cards?

mike iv got no sound when im on funkypool, not tried any other site, checked pc everything as it should be

might be a problem with your soundcard.

i got someone to come look at it today and i need a new one.

Although it helped i wouldnt usually advise you to get someone out to fix your computer...If any of your mates/family know anything about it ask them first mate as the prices charged are usually a lot over the odds and you can always get it a lot cheaper by knowing a few people ... better still learn it all as a hobby and then when your computer is down then you can fix it yourself.
