Had a small idea for an auto page refresh, like with the tournaments page just a simple refresh every so often but for the forum, i.e if u post it "general chat" and keep the page there it will auto refresh every 2 minutes? i know this is a bad idea and abit idle / lame but thought other users might like this such as the forum junkies..

erm why suggest it if you think this?

i dunno its not a bad idea id like to not have to refresh tourny page constantly
however i got a feeling this would make lag worse for me so maybe it is a bad idea lol

Tournament page was the example sorry to confuse you mate, i know for a forum it will be hard, it wont cause lag at all its a simple meta code (html)

Mike, there is an auto-refresh option for the tournament page - choice of every 15 or 30 secs. However, it seems to clog up the list on my "Back" button; not sure if that's because I have Firefox or not.

I just use F5 whenever I want to refresh a page (not just on this site). I never bother with the auto-refresh option for the tournament page.

Back to the topic: I don't think that auto-refresh is really needed for a forum.

yeah i know about the f5 option it was just an idea for the forum to auto re fresh every so often, its cool dont worry
