Wrong place!
Also if you're saying what i think you're saying, then no, i think it's totally fair!

its called skill and is very hard to get good at.
if you want to become very good at any of the funkypool games safety shots can be key.
although it would be a more suitable comment on funkysnooker forums, but ever watched a real snooker game. thats where you can begin to appreciate how skillful safety play can make a great player.

its fair, how can it be un-fair?, look at the likes of ronni O'sullivan, stephen hendry, shaun murphy and all the other great players, yes they are great potters, but they are also fantastic safety players, that is the key to most of there wins... watch a few snooker games and you'll be amazed how many players are tactical

Winning from a losing position by clever use of fouls and snookers is just as satisfying if not more satsifying than golden breaks and run outs.

Fair. By a mile. At the end of the day, you still have to pot the balls when you do get the opportunity after the foul. And in fact, sometimes a player who's in a commanding position will snooker an opponent to draw a foul and then romp hime with an extra shot in reserve to make extra sure of victory. They don't need to, but they do, because they can, because their skill level allows them to. And you can't fault a player who makes extra sure that a frame in the bag stays in the bag.

i always use safety as a bck up, if there aint a pot u play safe, makes a gud player, n wen i play someone tht snookers me wen there is no pot available it makes me fink they r better thn someone who wud jus smash em n hope.
