Hey everyone! I thought that maybe you guys all have books or music or anything that you think others should check out. I thought of this thread because sometimes I have like no idea what song to listen to or something. So if you're going to recommend something like a movie or book, a bit of a description might come in handy. Even for those of you that don't read...(you know who you are)..lol.

dostoyevsky's 'The Idiot' and 'Crime and Punishment' are what I'm into at the moment, great if you like the classics.

Hmm, where to start?
If you are into magic and fantasy, the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan is great, but quite a long read (each book is upwards of 700 pages, and there's like 12 of them). Or you could try Terry Brooks' Sword of Shannara series, which is also an excellent read.
The da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons by Dan Brown are always great, as you can read them over and over and still find something you hadn't noticed before. Wouldn't recommend the movie The da Vinci Code though, as it is very disappointing. Angels and Demons will be a movie soon though.
If you like thrillers, Intesity is awesome. Best thriller I've ever read. Takes you into the mind of a serial killer, and it is very disturbing, but one that I'd recommend any day.

And also, just been to see the movie Shrek the Third, which is okay. A good ending to the series, I suppose, but the first two were much better.

Sarah Dessen is one of my favorite authors. Her books are such that you can often relate to at some points. And once you start reading them, you can't put them down. They're mostly teen novels though. They usually deal with things most teens might be going through times like these today.
