Random shots is an unfair advantage due to players using them as a way to win.

let the other person clear while you have random shots and when the other person miss you clear up!

I think random shots should be taking away due to "cheaters" if the person is out of time the cue ball should stay in the same place, so it would be fair in both cases.

Yes this just happened to me and I find it unfair (not mentioning any names)

I expect a good reply due to this.

Thats not the point...

I know if the player has 5 random shot penalties in a row they automatically lose the frame, depending on the game tho i dont see how they get the advantage, In UK 8 ball you can carry the shot so unless the balls are terribly placed you should clear them up, in the US games u get ball in hand which is a huge advantage.
