Just wondered. Iwon a grand once playin the local drug dealer. Started off playing for a tenner and i kept beating him. he couldnt accept defeat so kept doubling it and offering more. walked away with a grand off him in the end. ahh that was a very good weekend. can anyone beat a grand then?

sadly not when it comes to real pool i end up losing money most of the time when there's a wager on the line.

I don't like playing for money. Last year though at the Scottish Open I was after a practise match and the guy wouldn't play me unless it was a money and after a wee bit of arguing we decided at 50p the frame distance (ie 5-0 would be £2.50, 5-1 would be £2.00), I won by the odd frame and won a 50p money match.

Reckon that is the probably the least money won!

lmao, the only time i have done something like this was a couple of years ago on holiday. I saw some boys playing pool and then started playing aswell. It was winner stays on, challenger pays. I ended up playing (about) 14 games for free What a deal.

Most games I have ever played in one go was a couple of weeks ago with my (sort of) step bro dalesta. We played for about 7 hours, 9 till 4! We didnt keep a proper score but it was probably about 26-20 to him.
