Well, the title says it all. I don't have much time to be playing these day's so I hate being messed around.
I join a game. Hit the rack balls button. Wait 10 seconds. say 'are you playin, by pm to the opposition. his response, 'I'm eating' and he refused to leave the game room.
I join another game. eventually get a game started, he wins with a fluke (irrelevant I know, hey thats 9 ball!) Then I hit rack balls. Wait 10 seconds. ask via opm if he is playing. His response 'I'm talking to my bird'. He refuses to leave the game room for 5 minutes.
Is that not what we have the chat rooms there for?
Am I the only one thats experienced this?
Can we have an auto-boot to the chat room for inactive users in a game room 1 minute subsequent to an opposition joining?
I'd hate to see this still being the case if we had doubles!

And see it's not all bad people who do it, While writing that post I was in a game room, completely forgot. left some poor chap there a couple of minutes! I think the boot feature to chat room would be really handy.
edit: could a relevant mod put the 'g' in playing in the title? thanks!

This has come up for discussion many times now, and It is a topic that I will fully support. I have expearanced this many times before and it really annoys me! It has to be a matter of time that this has to come in ( the suggestion of a "boot" button). It is becoming more and more frequant that this is happening. There was also an idea that the person who that owns the room, can have a boot button so that they can boot people who refuse to go away when they don't want to play them.
We can't have one boot button for the room owner and one for the person in it, so we need to come to a decsion as it needs to be sorted out ASAP

I was speaking of an auto-move feature, it simply moves the idle person into the chat room after say 20 seconds of inactivity when an opponent joins the room.

Some of the best responses I've had...
-"I'm in the loo"
-"Only if u let me win"
-"No I'm practicing"
Anyway, back to the point. Magic's idea sounds good. If someone joins a game, once they press the rack button to start, a timer is started, and boots the host after a while if there is no response.

Ah yes, sorry Magic, I must of missed it or thought of about previous threads. Yes, that is a very good idea. The time spell is about short as they might be getting a drink etc. Maybe a 40 seconds?

I'm not being awkward by simply posting this link, but i dont see any point in repeating the idea's over and over

It was a lively debate with many great ideas.

Well I was referring originally to people who knowledgably stay in a room with no intention to play. Quite different to those stated in that link though I believe the same conclusion can be reached.
