never see anyone play them.... top players by what rank? sorry but that means sqwat to me,,

the sites move forward fantastic great, incase you hadn't noticed since the changes no one plays...the site was it best before the changes!!

player calibur is is no way near as good as it used to be. back when it was "old school" winning a tournament meant something. and the way they are set out now is crazy, no wonder no one hardly joins them too many of them at once.

rank deductions should be back to how they was before. ive been in the high 800's my self but stayed at 800 for a long time because i contempt with the professional status. if people want to play ranked let them do so but,i dont see why people should be forced into it because of the daily point deduction...

Well I pretty much play straight tourney every night and sometimes its the only one i bother to enter and im not the only one in it. Also alot of 10 man + killer games going on.

because if you got to say 940 and were top of the 8US rankings with the max rank what incentive is there to play more.
You could just retire and stay top until someone else finally manages to reach there.

Or if you were top and just left the site then youll be there forever. Its just so people cant get to the top then retire and leave themselves there forever.

As a personal thing, i agree with the rank deductions but i think if you play a few ranked games each day then you shouldnt suffer the deduction. That way you cant retire at the top, but you dont lose points when you are a regular player anyway

Daily rank deductions is a perfect system imo

People who care about having a high rank should have to defend it - not just sit back and enjoy it forever without having to work to maintain it.

It also prevents retired players from holding on to the top lists

I see Gilli's point too, however I work 39 hours a week and get quite a bit of pool in too. On here and down the clubs. If you just make a 10 second ranked game and play a few frames you accumulate rank pretty quickly. Can get about +20 in about half an hour-ish. Pending you don't become sloppy. I think the rank hould be changed but not sure to what. Not sure I agree with Pag about the virtuoso thing though. I think the way it is would be better when only a select few are virtuoso at a time, shows how well they are doing more accurately. Bottom line: rank deductions should be changed, but no idea what to lol. I like to whinge but I suck with idea's, will leave that bit up to you fine people.
